Oh yes, Bill Cullen also filled in for Garry Moore on To Tell The Truth during its 1970s syndicated run,

And by sheer coincidence, one of those weeks is airing now  on Buzzr.

Also, while not bona-fide substitute hosts, both Peggy Cass and Kitty Carlisle sat in Garry's seat for the first half of an episode -- usually because they knew the person in the segment.

I think Orson Bean did once as well - something to do with a comic book artist that he knew?

According to both Wikipedia and a reference book I'm reading, Bob Crane did some sub hosting on Johnny Carson's Who Do You Trust?

There was one time when Roger Tuttle filled in for Gene Rayburn on Dough Re Mi and it wasn't because Gene was on vacation....Gene overslept!  He thought NBC News would preempt for coverage of the United Nations, that was his excuse.

That same article describes Dennis James filling in on "Treasure Hunt" and we get a thorough description of how things could drag out in an episode.

It sounds as brimming with action as Seven Keys. I suppose Jan Murray treated it like You Bet Your Life or Who Do You Trust, especially since he owned the show.
