Of The Theme Songs That Spanned Multiple Shows...
TimK2003:
Never thought the use of the TPIR losing horns cue (sans the first two notes) was a good fit for the Bust cue on Card Sharks either.

I got quite used to hearing the "Concentration" car cue---as later (and more famously) heard on TPIR---during the Buzzr run of that series. I don't know if their airings got to the point when the TPIR cues started making appearances, but I'm sure I'd have had the same reaction re. "Splendido".

Well, for Perry's version at least. Did prefer them reinstating the missing notes for the Eubanks/Rafferty run, and despite its association with TPIR, it just worked perfectly on CS as well.

I don't know what I just watched, but I suddenly have an uncontrollable urge to go buy a camera.
Ian Wallis:
Thought of an odd one: Break the Bank '76 and Soap World in '82.
Soap World was a M-F syndicated strip that focused on soap stars and their hobbies. It started in Sept 1982 but I think it was gone by Christmas. I tried searching for it online and there doesn't seem to be much of it out there.
The theme works much better on a game show rather than a talk/reality type show. Soap World was produced by Barry-Enright and I guess they really liked that theme!
EDIT: there is a clip with the show close included here:

Outside of the clip you added, when Charlie O'Donnell died someone made a Youtube video of the intros of every show he announced including Soap World. I've tried to find that video for years, to no avail.
And I agree the theme didn't fit there, unless you looped the strings part over and over again, similar to what TJW did for its million dollar tournament in the early-80s.
