New end-of-show promos..
digiblader:
I was watching LMAD today, and was particularly annoyed that they shrank the show to a 1/9th window(or something like that) and aired their promos until the show ended! That's terrible.
Only one day, and I'm already angered at those new promos of GSN. Please let us at least see those little deals Monty Hall does at the end of every LMAD ep.!

Well, it's annoying, but it could be worse. At least, Combs Feud has the closings included.

Early in the run of Combs Feud(CBS and SYndie), they didn't have contestant phone number graphics on screen when Ray did his goodbye. That will change about a year into the run. When the phone number graphics appear on the screen, GSN will cut out the goodbye.
adamjk:
Ah, never knew that. I still don't understand why GSN couldn't just do what they do, when Millionaire is on. Put up a do not call graphic over the number. It can't be that hard, I think I will give them a call and suggest they do this.
adamjk:
Well, I called and made the suggestion. I also cited the Millionaire show and the fact that they use a do not call graphic for that show. When I asked why they couldn't do the same for all the rest of the shows they have, I was told that GSN doesn't really have the rights to Millionaire. They get the shows that they air, sent to them. I guess the company that sends out the tapes(I assume it to be Buena Vista), added in the do not call thing themselves. As for why they don't do it for any of the other shows they have, the person who I spoke with, didn't really have an answer. She said she would be glad to pass on the suggestion to the programming department. I tried to speak with someone from the programming department, but they were in a meeting.
