Otm Shank:
A few decks of Card Sharks cards used for door prizes were (according to the listing) discovered in storage at Television City, and an opportunist apparently pilfered them to make a few bucks on eBay.

I have 4 decks of these that Buzzr sent my son in 2020 because he's a big game show fan like me and wrote them.

I thought they were something they had made but they do look like they're from the 80s. The cellophane was yellowed and the Joker looked like the ones from those cheap decks you'd find in discount stores back in the day. They probably kept the overstock to give away.

We opened one deck not sure where the other 3 went....

Going slightly off topic, but I remember going to Disney World as a kid and coming home with this very same pack of jumbo playing cards as a souvenir.

Even then, I wondered if these were made by the same company who made the cards on Card Sharks. I take it the cards on the show were larger than 7 x 5, so probably not.

The Card Sharks cards were at least one foot long on the shorter edge.

I always assumed that the big cards were custom made by the same graphics department that made all of the other graphical elements (name tags, Wheel of Fortune wedges, etc.) for the network's game shows.

As seen in various G-T fee plugs, a beach towel from Hawaiian Tropic (supply of Hawaiian Tropic not included):
