I won't pretend that I haven't considered elements of a new Moronionaire. J.W. Justice and Chuck Gibson were already slated for host and announcer roles on the never-released Episode 11... and we'd have to have Chris Lemon host at least one game if we plan to take moron abuse to new heights. And who could forget the inimitable talents of contestant coordinator Charles "Chuckie Baby" Donegan, or the Double-Blind Contestant Selection Committee, made up of Eddie Timanus and Stevland Morris?
But as you noted, Moronionaire isn't really needed now that we have actual moderators. Moreover, it would violate the Eligibility Guidelines in numerous ways, all of which I'm sure Matt and Chris C. are pondering as they read this. :-)
Even so, it could still be written and placed on your website, if you don't want to offend the powers that be here or use up the bandwidth (I think you said to me once before that a good chunk of the time MORONIONAIRE writes itself anyway).
Just my two Lincolns. :) Oh, and that Steveland Morris plays a mean piano and harmonica.

Wait just a split second, Zach! Last week, GSN DID skip the 8/19/62 What's My Line episode that had Shirley Jones as the 'Mystery Guest' and went right to the 8/26/62 one with Carol Channing, which I've already seen.
Cordially,
Tammy Warner--the 'Kit Dougherty of the Big Board!'

They do skip episodes on some shows on occasion, but they sometimes do and sometimes do not skip episodes due to special programming preempting a regularly scheduled program(B&W overnight has yet to be preempted in its two year existence IIRC)

I do realize, though, that Moronionaire's purpose is obsolete now that we are off ATGS.
Moronionaire returning?
I'll get the Krispy Kremes. And the taser.

GSN now holds the license to ALL the Love Connection eps? I thought they just picked up a batch of the 1991-92 shows.
It's a guilty pleasure of mine, so I wouldn't mind seeing some of the 1980s episodes.
GSN may or may not have the license to show all 11 years (it could be just five years, for all we know--unless someone's made a phone call to Culver City for confirmation). But what we do know is that there will be a marathon of "previously unseen on GSN" eps of LC on Valentine's Day. Whether that translates to showing these episodes during the regular schedule remains to be seen.
My guess, especially considering the extra daytime slot "LC" will be getting starting in March, is that they exercised the option and got additional episodes. Something tells that they probably did not picked all 1,500 + episodes, though--probably maybe another 500, if that much.
