Didn't TT and PYL tape in the same studio (I seem to recall some 1984 PYL episodes shown on GSN where the stairs within the audience were painted red, banana and blue)?  I'm pretty sure the EOTVGS has the two shows taping in different studios.

They did, yes.  I want to say that's studio 31.  The episodes that GSN originally aired had the yellow/red/blue....

Did they show the blue windows in the back of the audience, like on PYL, or were they covered by curtains?
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

You make it sound as if they were real windows! :) No, the backdrop of TT was yellow curtains or something similar.

The background on the score displays was brown for the 1974-1978 version; for 1982-1984, it was green.

I always thought it was red instead of brown.

Another change re. the score displays - when the pot was split, all the scores would change at the same time, rather than one at a time (did I watch the show just a little TOO closely?)
