Time Warner DVR's still are a piece of junk..BTW, still liking U-Verse?
Very much so!  Even though I lost a few channels by leaving Time-Warner (digital sub-channels like Antenna TV and MeTV), I gained more, like NFL Network and Boomerang, at a much lower price.

I got all that on FiOS...including Antenna and Me. :P

(sorry Mike)
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

Why I continue to use Comcast, I don't even know. Out of all of these, I only have NFL Network in my area. I also don't get GSN HD. I don't get it. What is it about the Baltimore area that Comcast can't at least acquire Boomerang? It's frankly frustrating. I believe the only reason I'm sticking around is because of the bundled service and I like their internet.
Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

If you are capable of switching to FiOS, you will like their internet more. Trust me.

So GSN actually got an HD feed? Nonexistent on FiOS.

Had it with Time-Warner, don't with U-Verse.  Like TBS and Cartoon Network, GSN enjoys stretching 4:3 video to 16:9.

See, I don't have Cartoon Network HD either, so I wouldn't know.

No TBS HD?  Watch the hatchet job they do to Family Guy.

A feature, far as I'm concerned. Who gives a flying FARK about watching what is 90% old content on an HD channel? That's bandwidth better spent elsewhere.

Is Family Feud in HD?  If so, that's 80% of GSN's schedule in HD right there.  ;-)

I believe they made the switch this past season.

I note that DirecTV, which owns a piece of GSN, doesn't carry GSN HD.

Liar! FF only represents 26% of the network's schedule.

Fair point, but what would you rather have- GSN HD or the Byron Allen channels?
