Matt and Joe's Quizzing Adventure
cyberjoek:
Tonight was round two of the year long Quiz Busters tournament (technically round one because the last round was called the "Qualifying Round"). There were some funny moments (such as a question about Casey At The Bat, the very topic we lost on in the lightning round two years ago) and it was a close game going into the second half it then became a run away in favor of one team (notice, no spoilers!). Fun was had by all (hopefully Matt agrees :-) ) and well no spoilers.

Also there was a bonus category on Public TV (because it's WKAR's 50th birthday), one of the questions was on WGBH (the first question was what city is it in?). Among the things that GS fans will know WGBH for is Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiago. Were there any other GSes from there?
So Far In The QB Season: 21,750 Points have been scored, 11,990 of them in our division

You can add the short-lived "Think Twice" from 1994-5 to that list.
Jimmy Owen:
Talk about a show that favors youthful contestants. I don't think I've ever seen anybody over 20 on that show (except the host.) :)

WGBH was the co-producer of the Carmen Sandiego shows with WQED in Pittsburgh. The shows actually originated from the Lifetime stages at Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens (and at the Chelsea Studios in NY in the first season).
