Password '75 Question
tvmitch:
Hey everyone...my first post in awhile! Good to be back.
I'm starting up a series of Password at my college. I'm going to use the 50-point Password '75 front game (best two of three matches) and the P+/SP end game to make a good half-hour show. The whole series will be a bracket tournament, single elimination, with about 10 shows. (Please, no replies on the format itself and why or why not you like it, it's what we're going with.)
I think it should be fun. We're going to use my school's amazing studio and equipment, and I'm a perfectionist with production, so the show will look good. If anyone wants a VCD of the shows, let me know and I'll keep you posted.
I have a question about the "Double" rule, though. For those who remember or can see an episode of the show that I might not have, what happens if the player chooses to "double" and his/her partner gets the word wrong? When play goes to the other side, how many points is that word worth then?
Thanks!

IIRC, if you went for a Double and missed, your opponent then got a shot for 20 points.

Yes, one shot. Then the word was thrown out.
