Pretty standard stuff, but I wish they'd said something GOOD about Ray Combs. Iguess all the information in that blurb is factual, but what irks me is when people do general articles on the show, they have to mention his suicide like Feud was the reason for it. Yeah, I'm sure that his release from the show was a factor, but so was his divorce and eventual bankruptcy (or just going broke...I don't recall which it was). It kinda irks me the same way writers call the Showcase the Showcase Showdown.

By the same token, as well-known as that story is, I can't see an article profiling Feud hosts not mentioning the suicide, considering the depression that Combs went through when he was fired.

That being said, it always amazes me when articles refer to syndicated shows by the network (in this case CBS), just because it airs on that market's affiliate.

I mean, yes it aired on CBS...17 years ago.

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

So they're switching to film for the new season?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Look how many years it lasted with a terrible set, and a terrible host ("OMG! DOUBLE THE POINTZZZ!!11!!one"). If Harvey is as good as O'Hurley, then I think we'll be fine for a couple of years.

I agree. Anytime we get an article on the hosts of the show, it seems like someone watched the E! True Hollywood Story from 1997 and since then it has been the template for information on Feud and its hosts. But, back in the winter, I remember my wife saying that Family Feud has had this constant revolving door of hosts similar to Spinal Tap drummers. Ironically, the next day is when the announcement was made that Steve Harvey would be taking over as host.

I thought it was from around 2002- cause I know they covered Louie and his extortion problem, and I think the ending was something about Richard Karn soon taking over. Maybe I'm wrong about the last part, but I know for sure that the E!THS was from the early 2000s.

There was an E!THS on Ray himself in 1997.

Yes, you and Jeremy are correct...the one on Ray was late 1997 and the one on the Feud hosts at the time was in summer of 2002. But, my original point being that the manner in which the info on the hosts and show was presented in the THS's has become the template so to speak in general media.
