Deal Or No Deal Death Watch

Well, with Deal Or No Deal reaching the end of its days, local stations are starting to cancel or reschedule remaining episodes to overnight time slots.

Here's the local situation:  Starting Monday, WILX-TV 10 is moving Access Hollywood from 3:05 AM to 5:30 PM which was the time slot for the first-run episodes of Deal.

Apparently, then, that run of Deal will swap times and go to 3:05 AM where it will reunite with second-run episodes at 3:35 AM for a full hour, followed by an infomercial.

Here in Western Colorado, they swapped out the 6:30 airing of DoND with Millionaire, which used to air at 11:30 AM on the CBS affiliate KREX/5.  That change happened within the last few weeks. Millionaire now runs against 5th Grader and ET.

And about the same time, on sister station KFQX/Fox 4, the 10PM airing of DoND was replaced with a 2nd run of Oprah (Oprah's 1st showing airs @ 4PM on KREX).

I don't know offhand if & where the 2nd airing of DoND went to, but it looks like DoND is on it's way out of town.

Here's the situation in Erie:  DoND was airing a double run at 10am on WSEE (CBS) last season, and then, when the new season began in September, it moved from there to 2am on Fox 66.  Currently Time Warner Cable customers here can see it at 8am on WUAB out of Cleveland, but it wouldn't surprise me if they bumped it to late night on either My43 or sister station WOIO CBS 19.

Seattle/Tacoma: Not a switch to overnight, but KSTW just this week moved Daily DOND from a 5 PM single run to a 10 AM double run vs. Price and The View. As to the old slot..."It's Joe Time." The Judge swaps slots with Howie.

Still airing at 4pm on WTVZ, although it switched from WTKR (same timeslot) last September.
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

Roanoke/Lynchburg VA DMA:

The show's metabolic processes are history. It has shuffled off its mortal coil.

It has ceased to exist.

Not WOIO.  After The Late Late Show with CraigyFerg, they go to infomercials before going to CBS' extra early newscasts.  They've done so for at least the last 3 years.  I guess WOIO will let Deal run its course for the next 6 months in that 8 AM spot.

WGNO (New Orleans) is still airing two shows a day, one at 4:00pm and then another at 6:00pm as a lead-in to their 6:30pm newscast.

As I mentioned earlier, WSTR in Cincinnati dropped DOND from 3-4 pm to 1:30 am-2:30 am.

Here's is one of the craziest DoND Death Watch Updates...

Western Colorado -- KREX-TV (CBS 5):

Third DoND move in as many months -- Deal is now on at 9:30AM, just after Feud at 9:00 AM.  Not a bad spot on the daytime schedule except...

Feud and Deal have BUMPED The Price Is Right!!!

KREX originally aired The Price Is Right live off of the East Coast Feed at 9AM MT (11AM ET).  Now TPiR airs one hour later at 10AM, which now bumps Y&R to 11AM.

Let's Make A Deal still airs at 1PM MT.
