25KP in 1985: very pleased
100KP in 1987: not totally displeased. There's lots of stuff I would have saved if I'd had a DVD burner when this season was last on the schedule.
daytime Password: pleased as punch on its own merits, even if I'm displeased in principle that there's no more B&W in the lineup

This will be the first time in years that I've had 90 minutes a day on my VCR and none of it was due to a champion with 40+ wins.

I am too.  If what we previously heard was true - that GSN had only converted the first and last year's of the show - at least they've taken the time to convert more episodes for airing - which is good stuff!

Has GSN reconsidered adding "MATCH GAME PM" to the AM lineup?  When the March 30 schedule first hit my DVR, MG PM was listed at 9:30AM eastern but when browsing the schedule earlier this morning, I noticed that the "PM" designation had been removed from the title.  Anyone know?

That is still a PM airing, according to the BuzzerBlog PDFs.

Someone who appears to be Fred Roggin himself is posting on GSN's Buzz board that a major programming announcement from the network is imminent, something he's calling "one of the biggest things in GSN history."  That, of course, has led to rampant and occasionally goofy speculation, much of which has been shot down by Buzzerblog's Alex, who is apparently in the loop on whatever it is.  In any case, it appears a second shoe is going to drop soon, and whether it's as earthshaking as Roggin suggests is something we'll have to wait and see.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Well, I realize that is what the BuzzerBlog PDFs state but those PDFs were dated 3/3/09.  My DVR programming info first listed MG PM only within the past week and then removed the PM designation even more recently.  So, perhaps I should clarify my original question...has GSN reconsidered the PM version airing in the AM since the schedules released on 3/3/09 were made available?

If it's Roggin, it's probably full-schedule GSN Live.

Adding on to what Roggin said, he pretty much Blew up at CaseyAbell after Abell questioned whether or not this announcement was as big as Roggin said it is going to be.

And in case anyone didn't know (or cares), GSN is planning on airing Roggin hosted The Money List (Rich List Revival) starting on Saturday, June 1st at 8pm. The Money List is airing at this time because of this Big Announcement.

i will get more bank tapes, trade with more people and keep my game show collection growing.  i will tape the $25,000 pyramid and $100,000 pyrami and other stuff,. i am so glad the 2 pyramids are back, but it really hurts me that PYL, and CS are leaving, the departure of PYL and CS makes me really angry!

Why don't you pen some lyrics to those shows' theme songs to make us and yourself feel better.

My esteem for Fred Roggin just went up 72%. Let me know if Casey begins throwing tl;dr lists of numbers to defend himself.

That blasts my one serious theory (that this announcement was just a Money List pickup) As a totally blind guess, I wonder if GSN picked up DoND...
