First off, for those in a cave that haven't seen it, the Micheal Larsen shows will air during this Sunday's block also.

And a question, are these episodes of 25k Pyramid "new to gsn"???? I sure don't remember seeing these celebs. on there. Just check out that PDF file and you'll see what I mean.

GSN did show The New 25K Pyramid eps. with a pre-Night Court Harry Anderson (wanna say Jack Clark or whomever announced back then credited Anderson as being on Cheers).  Similarly, I remember seeing Lynn Redgrave/Billy Crystal, and Michael J. Fox on The New 25K Pyr. when GSN aired it 6 or 7 years ago.

Re: $25,000 Pyramid, how many weeks of shows did they air past the Vicki Lawrence & Harry Anderson week, before suddenly hopping onto November 1987? (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Ah, yes, with his "Harry the Hat" character. One of my favorite characters on early Cheers episodes..

Two partial answers:
i) In March 2002, GSN ran a marathon, The Golden Pyramid Awards, which featured one of the Redgrave/Crystal shows and the other two shows from the upcoming marathon.
ii) At that time, they were running the shows from the Soap Opera week (November 1987), or maybe a little earlier, through the end.
Protecting idiots from themselves just leads to more idiots.

GSN ran the first year of the show (September 1982-1983) for the first 4 years they had the rights to Pyramid, then switched over to the 1987-88 episodes in Fall 2001.  The 1982-83 shows occasionally turned up for about the next year or so, but weren't seen after around 2002 or so, IIRC.
