We're through the first week of Catch 21, and nobody else has asked, so I thought I'd give it a shot. What are your feelings about the show?
I, for one, think it's one of GSN's better efforts, especially compared to the more recent stuff they've dished out. The set is very nice, and the gameplay is simple and fun. (As a side note, am I the only one who sees somewhat of a throwback to the Big Numbers in the bonus round?)
On the downish side, the hosts could use to ad-lib a little more. Alfonso is doing a fairly good job, but sometimes it seems as if he's not really a game show host- he just plays one on TV. One more thing that irks me a little is the total overhaul of the set from front game to bonus round. Just seems totally unnecessary to me.
That's my two pennies' worth.
