Edd K's associate, perhaps?

That, or perhaps a shot at hosting Password, particularly one of the puzzle variations--since in those versions, not having the puzzle answer, the host gets to play along.

1) Directing, without a doubt. And that's in the Paul Alter/Marc Breslow/Bruce Burmester sense of the term, not the R. Brian DiPirro one.

Tritto.  Too bad I really don't have the capability to make something like that happen.

There aren't too many parts that haven't fascinated me. Wanted to host first (the reason for getting into this goofy broadcasting business), then write, then develop-produce. I'm with Mike T - I'd like the shot at being host/producer. It's probably double the headaches, but double the excitement when things work out. (And besides, who's going to get the producer to believe the host's doing a lousy job?)

I'd want to host Card Sharks or $ale of the Century. They are two different vehicles but a lot of interaction with contestants and (at least with $ale) the props.

I'd like to be an announcer too. It wouldn't matter which show or production company.

And producing and/or directing: I wouldn't mind doing that, but if I was a producer in this day and age, I would've stuck to the classics and perhaps wouldn't fare well =p

^ stole my answer! ;) ^

It would have been host on NBC Card Sharks. The interactivity was always the engaging part of the show, trying to think out the answers with the contestants.

(An aspect keenly picked up on by Power of 10)

I would need a resizing of the cards and the Money Cards set. At 5'8", there's no way I reach NBC's Big Bet line!

Reality:  Any kind of behind-the-scenes job, even a lowly PA.

Less Real but Possible:  Material writer.

Even Less Real:  Announcer.  All of the ego stroking without having to be on camera.

Fantasy:  Panelist on "WML?" next to Bennett, Arlene and Dorothy.

I pictured that. Someone like Eubanks or Rafferty on the Perry set, pulling out a milk crate and stepping up.

Barker/Carey have their Pinko stick, I get a steppy-stool! :D

Maybe one of those things that people used to use at grocery stores to get stuff off of high shelves? :)

I'd like to have Tommy Oliver's job or Ron Ely's job on Face the Music, odd as that may sound.

I also would really enjoy the hosting gig on TTD or TJW.

My dream job is to be Mark Goodson. You get to own shows and profit from and take credit for them while others think them up. Nice work if you can get it.

Directing TPIR would be nice because I think I can do a better job with it.

I got a chance to write questions, appear as a contestant and a celebrity, host, and produce three different game shows on local access while in college.  I'd love to produce, or work my way up to it.
