As many of you know, I'm working on a episode guide for Dawson's (ABC) Family Feud . We are getting pretty far into November 1976 and I was wondering if anyone knew any dates (such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, holidays, etc.) where the show was preempted.

Xmas in 1976 fell on a Sat, and New Year's Day in 1977 did as well, so no preemptions for either of those two.

Is it safe to assume that Feud was preempted on Thanksgiving Day?

Someone here probably has the 1976 TV Guides to tell you for sure. (Paging Jimmy Owen!) I have the Thanksgiving, 1975 issue and ABC ran all their Saturday morning kids shows (including CNR's \"Uncle Croc's Bloc\") during the holiday. Wouldn't surprise me that they'd have done something similar in 1976.

No Feud on Thanksgiving 1976 or the day after. Cartoons on Thurs, College Football on Fri.
