And, as widely predicted, Price gets only the brief mention.
So here's my question: did they even MENTION why they weren't running an episode? Even offhandedly? Hintingly? Jokingly?
Nope. No mention why it wasn't shown. Also, the mention about Price itself was brief and very unworthy.

"Name something you put in tea."
"A tea bag."

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the producer of GSN's 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time.

Edit: is it my imagination or is show #2 tonight one of those time-compressed, speeded-up shows I keep hearing about?  Everyone is jumping up and down in a near blur and even the answers seem to be flipping over faster than usual.  I'm expecting Charlie Chaplin to show up for a cameo.

Adding insult to injury the 2nd Feud episode is on speed. Wow.

This all means that MG will probably be #1, as it would be quite tacky to have an unaired #1.

Nope, not your imagination. It is just annoying to watch. I changed the channel.

This whole week has given me a pain in my sides, and it's not even over yet (and I just turned 20, I don't know which I should be more worried about). Well, throw out my attempt at bringing logic to this list with my Feud at number 1 idea...

Who was smoking that wonderful wacky weed when they were "not" thinking about this list? >:(

The first episode was good for laughs, but there are better choices for ep #2.  The September Incident and the famous solo-Fast Money win from the Combs era are just two that come to my mind.

So, the penultimate night of the countdown gets a mild thumbs up, and now that we know the top 2, I can safely give the countdown as a whole a thumbs in the middle, leaning towards up for some nice surprises in the beginning of the list.

Indeed. They do it all the time during the morning run. The banjo intro music is usually on warp-speed.

This list finds more and more ways to be nothing more than a joke.

Almost every time there's been a viewer's choice marathon, Match Game has been #1. It was pretty much a given that GSN would stick with that tradition.

There's always the Thanksgiving marathon...

I hate to admit this, but I have to agree. It seems like the most viewers' choice marathon had Match Game at the top. I, too, would not even be surprised that Match Game would be at the top. On the other hand, I really thought that TPJR would be #1. Boy am I wrong as always.

TPIR not getting aired was to be expected.  Even for a one time only airing, if GSN had aired the show, Moonves would've been down there on the Sony lot throwing a tantrum...
