Giving the network exactly the sort of attention they were hoping for, USA TODAY had a small writeup about the Tonya Harding episode of Anything to Win in today's (Friday) edition.  But showing how well the branding thing is working out for them, USA TODAY referred to the channel as "Game Show Network" and didn't even once use the GSN abbreviation.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

How long have they been GSN and not GameShowNet? That should tell you all you need to know that your spiffy 'hey lets look hip' branding AIN'T WORKING.

The Tonya Harding AtW was also brought up during the Big Finish on tonight's Pardon the Interruption, and both Tony and Mike also referred to the network as "Game Show Network".  Yeah, two years later the rebranding is working real well [rolls eyes]...

I caught the last few minutes of ESPN2's "Cold Pizza" this morning and noticed they included "Game Show Network" in the Clips Courtesy graphic at the end of the show. I was wondering what it was for - it must have been that Harding show.
