Some silly suggestions about TPIR
« on: February 22, 2006, 12:23:19 PM »
I think it's safe to say that the average TPIR fan wouldn't really care one way or another if Rich Fields gets any face time or any extra interaction on camera, but I thought of two ways to give Rich more face time.

Come to the show with a LARGE pic. of Rich Fields on your shirt. Ok, maybe you won't get called down, but you may be able to get on camera.
(I thought also of maybe a large blown up photo, but I am pretty sure the TPIR staff wouldn't allow that, since it might be considered a "sign", and they DON'T want to be LMAD. I remember on one trip to TPIR, a group of people wore halos with mistletoe on them. They were asked to remove the halos... I guess it fell into the category of a "costume")

If a contestant wins his/her pricing game, make a run for Rich Fields and shake his hand or whatever. You might scare the heck out of Rich, but the cameras may at least capture him on camera.

Note that I am not suggesting these things as SERIOUS suggestions, but I am surprised that nobody ever thought of doing this when they were on the show.

Well, they probably didn't want to be taken into custody....
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

I'm pretty sure I remember a contestant from a few years ago with a picture of Rod on his shirt--he wasn't announcing at the time, but he was still alive. Of course, Barker shirts show up constantly.

I've seen at least two contestants pay homage to Rich Fields on their shirt. I guess no one paid homage to Mr. West on their T-shirts worn on TPIR, but has anyone done that at TPIR Live :)

Though I bow down to his awesomeness, I prolly wouldn't get a shirt with Mr. West on it...oh you mean the announcer not the porn star who half way looks like Kalter...oh that's different then, rofl.

Have him call the final "come on down" player on-camera as his predecessors did. And get him in some Showcase bits. And let him pre-record the "Mark Goodson Television Production" part. All stuff that's worked before.
