[quote name=\'Combs Feud aficionado\' date=\'Jan 29 2006, 08:30 PM\']Obviously, the 1988-1994 Combs set.  With Bullseye or without, it was perfect.  Beautiful red, blue, and yellow colors gave it a much more friendlier, happier, and energetic atmosphere than that of the drab and boring (and ugly) brown, blue, and orange colors on Dawson's 1976-1985 set.  Adding the "Family Feud" logo on the red carpet was a nice touch.  It really tied the set together, man.  The Bullseye prop that lowered from the ceiling looked great too.  The red plastic trim around the survey board may have been manufactured cheaper, but it sure looked a helluva lot better than the wood trim on Dawson's set.

Lemme go over that again. I just want to be sure.

Yep. I'm pretty sure I disagree with you on every single point you made above.

Chris, look at his name again.  There is probably nothing you could say that will change his mind.

And you know we'll all be in trouble when Karn Feud aficionado shows up (rolls eyes).

Ay yay yay.

I'll make a real answer to this question.

The "100 Mexicanos Dijeron" set is probably my favourite one, with the Combs set coming in second, and the purple "Family Fortunes" set from some time ago. =)

My favorite of ALL time has to be when the 100MD set was decorated during Christmas of last year. The great thing about that set is that it seems so versatile, and it can go through a huge change if it wanted to (the VIP episodes are one example). I'll have to make screen caps of it some time soon. :-p

Now, Dawson's 1994-1995 set I like.  Nowhere near as much as the 1988-1994 Combs set, but it had its own charm and beauty.  I think it would work well for Feud today or if they ever have a nighttime Feud in the future.  It has the perfect look for a nighttime show.

Even though it was only used for a few weeks, I loved the Combs Opryland Set.  Those plants were a nice touch.

So, my favorites are

1. Combs 88-94
2. Combs Opryland
3. Dawson 94-95

The rest....no thanks.  Especially the Anderson/Karn set(s).

I wondered why that response looked so familiar............Almost verbatim to what you typed in a previous reply, Chris! How original, musicboy.

Right down to the pause.
I was going to mention something too...but I wasn't sure.  Glad to see my suspicions have been confirmed.

I would imagine there's no disciplinary action for plagiarizing a poster's reply? I can hope, though.

It's not plagiarism, but it is musicman's latest stunt.  And as it happens, his last.

Further replies on Mr. musicman should be directed to Behind the Scenes.  Further replies on the actual topic of the thread may be posted here as per standard procedure.

Wake me up when you get to talking about the topic at hand again...in the meantime, more Monty Python for me.
