Referring to the Variety article:

Quote
"In order to claim a fortune, the winner will essentially have to know when to say 'when.'"

"THAT'S TOO MUCH!"

I couldn't resist.

I don't see how they are going to eliminate trivia totally.  I'm wondering if they mean there is no trivia in the entire game or just in the money portion.  Just choosing a random contestant seems kind of crappy if you ask me, but whatever.  It's nice to have a new game show here.  It's too bad that we can't get any original ideas instead of borrowing from other countries, but oh well.

We could always go back to "Who wants to date a Hooters girl".
That said, what was the last American game to be exported? Greed?

Even though it was a revival of an older show, 21 began in the states, so I'd count that.

Russian Roulette in 2002.  Twenty-One was in 2000.

I thought RR was based on an overseas format? I want to say Germany.

Either way, 21 is the most US show to start up a foreign format, late-2004/early-2005 in Canada. I think UK Greed was 2001.
