He mentioned TV Guide in his text, so it's probably that.

Aha. Was looking for it in the subject line at the beginning, so that's how I failed to see it. :)

(Massive overquoting deleted. -DZ)

Now let me get this straight...

WCBS aired Catch Phrase at 9:00 a.m., Break the Bank at 9:30 a.m. and Wheel of Fortune at 7:30 p.m.

WNBC aired New Newlywed Game at 7:30 p.m. and The Price is Right (Tom Kennedy) at 2:30 a.m.

WNEW still had no game shows

WABC aired Headline Chasers at 10:30 a.m., Jeopardy! at 4:00 p.m. and $ale of the Century at 4:30 p.m.

WOR aired The Joker's Wild at 1:00 p.m., Tic Tac Dough at 1:30 p.m., All New Let's Make a Deal at 2:00 p.m. (moved from WCBS which aired the previous season)

Am I correct?

P.S. Didn't WNBC air Love Connection at 4:00 p.m.?

Now was this the year after the "Wheeling, Dealing, Family Feuding afternoon of fun?" on KYW?

That was in effect from 3/18/85-9/13/85, with Daytime WOF at 4, All New LMAD at 4:30, and Feud(syndie) at 5PM. This was the KYW game show schedule immediately after that ended. KYW did air Love COnnection in 1985-86 in the wee hours of the night, I think right after Letterman.
