A commercial appeared during last night's J! airing on WPVI for TPIR Live's return to the SHowboat in Atlantic City this Spring/Summer. Tickets go on sale this Friday 4/1. No dates were given. Randy W., have any more details you can share on this?

All I have to say is "HELL YES". :)

But really, it's not like I need another excuse to go to Atlantic City. The poker tables calling me are enough...;p

There've been hints about a return to AC for a couple of months. As I understand it, the deal was just struck; it looks like the Harrah's folks are getting the word out very quickly. But why not, the show was a huge hit for the Showboat, selling out night after night.

Since it's public knowledge and tickets go on sale this week I guess I'm not violating any confidences. My understanding is that TPiR-Live will return to the Showboat on or about May 1st. While we'll be in the same hotel I'm told we will be in a different showroom, but still able to accommodate 600+ guests per show.

There aren't many more details available from this end as most of my talk with the game show gods at Fremantle has been about the five "Game Show Moments Gone Bananas" specials for VH-1 that are now in post production.

So I guess it's time to start humming the Cliffhangers yodel, practicing your miniature golf for Hole In One, and loitering at the supermarkets to learn the prices of all the grocery items! And don't forget a few visits to new car dealers to study those stickers!!

Come On Down!

TPiR-Live returns to AC from 5/1 through 10/31, a full six months. Shows Sunday thru Friday nights (dark Saturdays). Again this year I look forward to meeting, drinking, and telling juicy stories with all Invision family members. It was great meeting so many new friends from the board last year. We're still working on the schedule for hosts and announcers, so if you're looking to see one of your faves, perhaps you'll want to check back; I'll post when I know more.

Yes, that means the Miss America contestants will be in town during the TPiR-Live run. Last year they kept me up all night, knocking on my door. I had to finally get out of bed and let them out.   ;-)

The assumption was that the show was going across to the marina to the co-owned Harrah's, but I think it's a better fit for the Boardwalk casino. You are indeed going to be in a different room this time out because the old space has been gutted to make way for the new House Of Blues. As a part time denizen of AC, I'm happy to welcome all of you back and I'll try to drop by and see the show.

Folks, don't let the construction confusion confound you - COME ON DOWN!

Hey Aaron,

If there is any local Harrisburg tour companies doing any overnight bus trips to AC around the time of the GSC?  Perhaps you can add this as an optional 2 day "field trip" to the Convention.

Plenty of room to play some additional games on board, and we can hijack the VCR player on the bus and play some old shows.
