This day in GSN history
« on: December 14, 2004, 08:50:36 PM »
It was one year ago tommorow that fans awoke to alamring news on TVgamshows.net, and perhaps unnesarily so since the facts were not in yet.  Essentially we read that GSN will undergo a major overhall early in '04,  possibly into something as different as a glass of orange juice to an eggnog milkshake at Steak'n'Shake (that last part is a paraphrase, but sadly not by much).

Below is what I posted on theYahoo! Family Feud hangout later that day. I'd say I got things pretty right:

Yes. I agree. Let calm heads prevail. Over the past several
months the channels re-runs have been largely reduced to just
the tried and true hits like "Feud" while most of their prime-time
and afternoon hours went to Bob Boden's originals.

In the comming year I suspect the re-runs will stay during the
days and weekends hours while these "new casino and reality
shows" will take up space where Boden's shows aired this year
and last.

Anyone else have any comments or observations now that the year has panned out?

Yes. If you're waking to alarming news on tvgameshows.net, you're starting your day off with the wrong website.
