We got the "Gambit" closing already.... we have the opening on a piece of tape somewhere. The Garson stuff is rather closely held and I'm a little surprised even that much from "Gambit" has surfaced.

Garson's Battlestars opening and closing theme was located by John "Skynet" Chartier, who in 2002 put it on his legendary if short-lived Game Show Concert website. Maybe Garson's music isn't as closely held as it once was.

Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak. It's great to dance to.

Hey All,

You know what would be nice, anything from the U.S. version of "Catch Phrase" from 1985, whether be it the main theme (don't know if there was just one theme or an open or close) or any cues from it.

I have been searching for this theme ever since it went off the air.

I really miss it as I do miss the show very much.

Let me know what you can do.

Thanks so much,
Chris

With the various LMAD requests, how could I have forgotten the "Wah-wah-wah-waaaaaaaaaaah" zonk music from the 1984 series?
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

For me, the most wanted are:

1. Whew - CLOSING theme (the opening pales in comparison)
2. Jeopardy 1978 ("Frisco Disco")
3. Money Maze
4. Hit Man
5. Dream House - both versions
6. Celebrity Sweepstakes - the second theme written by Alan Thicke (the first, by Stan Worth, is out there)
7. Tattletales - 1974 version (the one in the trade curcuit is actually a slightly different version which was used for the final season, 1977-78)

My brief most wanted list...

-Dream House (1983 version)
-Sale of the Century (1986 main theme)
-TPiR: Clean version of the Million Dollar Spectacular opening music, the music currently used in Race Game

I'm sure all of these would fit into the "wishful thinking" category, but I would like to have the following in master quality:

-"Fun House" 1988 (all musics)
-"Hollywood Squares" 1986 & 1988 (all musics)
-"Wheel of Fortune" 1992 theme & a 1989 cue that I can't describe and that I don't know the title to (way to go, me!)
-"Finders Keepers" (all musics from both Eure's & Toffler's versions)
-"Make the Grade" (all musics)
-"Think Fast" (all musics)
-"Starcrossed" from "The Price is Right"
-The Big Sweep cue from "Supermarket Sweep"
-"Jeopardy!" 1991

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's lots more!

Got it. It's not as high-quality as the '84 theme on the GSN CD, but it's better than I've heard elsewhere. For the life of me, I can't remember where I found it, though.

Brian Karimzad's 80stvthemes.com site has the 1984, 1991, and 1997 main themes to J! on it.

I know that; I've been there many, many times. The 1991 theme is in awful quality. The copy I have of the '91 & '97 themes are better than the ones you're reffering to.

Weakest Link - master tracks NOT from the PC game.  Especially the final round themes.
PYL - masters
Scrabble - masters

I for one do not want masters. All the themes I want are unacceptable if they are any higher quality than 5th generation.

And so listening to them you can truly relive the experience of watching game shows on a 1976 Zenith with rabbit ears.
