Here's a schedule you can actually choose. Buzzr's doing a contest in which you can choose which programming lineup airs June 4th. Options are:

Bob vs Bob vs Bob (Bob Eubanks hosted shows)
One & Done (Series premieres and finales)
Buzzr's Beginnings (Day 1 inspired)

Could be fun, I see reasons to pick any of them and it should be a good day regardless.

I voted for the "One and Done" marathon because several of those would be new-to-Buzzr.

I thought Bob vs Bob vs Bob would be Barker vs Goen vs Eubanks like that CBS promo many years ago
Enjoy lots and lots of backstage TPIR photos and other fun stuff here. And yes, I did park in Syd Vinnedge's parking spot at CBS

The wording of the promo leads me to believe they've gotten some entity to declare June 1st as "National Game Show Day" and they're likely having a marathon to celebrate it. They've done plenty of other marathons for national whatever day, so now they get to celebrate our genre.
Smart cookie, I tell ya. 4-Day marathon, concluding with the Viewer's Choice day.

I decided to go.with Buzzr's Beginnings, largely because that's when I felt that was the channel at its best. I'm a nostalgic sort. 🙂

Same here, especially since I noticed Classic Concentration was on that list.

Probably the most intriguing thing for me is the ambiguity of said lineup - Match Game, Tattletales, To Tell The Truth, Let's Make A Deal, and The Newlywed Game each had multiple runs, so what they pull out could be very interesting (and I don't think there's any guarantee it's limited to 8 hours).

The One and Done selection intrigued me too, even though LMaD & what they're running now of TNG didn't even directly mention that it was the beginning or finale.
On another note: did the 1978 Tattletales finale ever air on GSN?

No.  They aired some episodes from fall 1977, and maybe even a couple from '78, but they never got to the finale.  The last year of the original version was sparse on GSN.

Congrats, you win the office pool. Buzzr has started airing promos for Game Show Day.

Why do I get the feeling that if anything they'd air the 1984 finale instead?

I'm surprised by the complete dropping of Whew! What happened?

I liked Whew! It's disappointing that Buzzr decided to air the show's weakest era, Celebrity Whew, over the show's beginning, when it was new, exciting, and genuinely good.

Outside of the classics, Buzzr seems to rotate shows pretty often. I’m sure it’ll be back at some point, but let’s not pretend it wasn’t an outta left field pick from the start.

I think it's safe to say the ratings for Whew! (or however BUZZR measures it) probably weren't so good towards the end - if it was still doing as well as it reportedly was when it started, I don't think it would be off the schedule for so long.

They're probably just "resting" it and I'm sure we'll see it again.

With all due respect to the posters above me… I know the prevailing theory is that it’s taking a rest. I hope that’s right, but I’m not so sure.

My guess: It was a short-term deal, and it didn’t get the ratings and/or didn’t generate enough ad revenue for BUZZR to feel it was worth renewing. As opposed to, say, Classic Concentration, which is worth keeping in their portfolio.

I’ll be happy if I’m wrong about Whew!, though.
