Fans of TTTT's irregular disguised-impostors segments -- like the times Tom Poston was adorable as a teddy bear, Wally Bruner overacted as a wolfman, and Gene Rayburn wheezed his way through Santa Claus-- may care to check out the first game's reveal in this evening's second show, a Buzzr first-run episode.  Fun spot!

The only celebrity imposter I remember from the 70s version was Soupy Sales.  However, I couldn't tell you when or for whom he was trying to impersonate.

Then watch tonight's episode and you'll have the answer.

Okay, here's my $0.02:

1 T or C - Barker or Larry Anderson
2 Some version of Hollywood Squares.
3 TPIR with Barker or Kennedy

June 1st is Buzzr's anniversary.

I'm going to temper my expectations and predict a rebroadcast of The Game Show Show or some similar retrospective rather than a new-to-Buzzr acquisition. If it were a new show, Buzzr would say it's a new show, not a cryptic "game shows get their day."

My wild guess: a proper BUZZR on Demand. New library content hasn't really appeared on Prime and other platforms over the past while.

All I have seen was the promo for Mother's Day Week (I assume shows woth TV moms and/or mother-daughtertmother-son pairings).  Looks like there will be at least one Tattletales '8x episode with Shirley Jones,...that's all I caught.

I was thinking either that, or possibly a game show-focused multichannel streaming service.

The wording of the promo leads me to believe they've gotten some entity to declare June 1st as "National Game Show Day" and they're likely having a marathon to celebrate it. They've done plenty of other marathons for national whatever day, so now they get to celebrate our genre.

I was thinking the same thing.  A quick Google search doesn't find a(n) (Inter)National Game Show Day...yet...so it's plausible.

Yeah, I just can't see even Buzzr devoting a regular time slot to "lots of love" Temptation.

Now, if they somehow got rights to Temptation AU ... Nawwww.

Interesting side note: While doing teh google to figure out whether it was "lots of love" or "lotta love," I stumbled across this 2012 interview with Rossi.

https://sb2tlopg.wordpress.com/2012/03/02/interview-with-rossi-morreale/

Quote
GP: The interesting thing about this show, and in my opinion one of the factors that lead to its downfall, was that the contestants were predominantly female (with a few homosexual men). That limited the show’s audience quite a bit. I know I was disappointed because I wanted to be a contestant. How much do you think the casting affected the game?

RM: Well it’s funny you say that…because the first guy we had on the show (and he was totally straight) dominated everybody went the entire week and won a car.  That probably scared them.  We didn’t have the money to be giving away a lot of cars!!  I don’t know if that affected the casting of the contestants or not, but I do know that we kept seeing men really take over the show consistently when they were on.  Don’t get me wrong, a lot of women dominated the show, but most guys that came on won consistently.  So, maybe that’s the reason.

Oh, how soon we forget in several regards.

I couldn't pause the video, but did notice the Card Sharks '01 logo in there. Please no.

Probably just a matter of taking the logo of every show they have rights/access to and running them at speed, though. My money is on some sort of "National Game Show Day" or something along those lines.

Oh boy....Let the speculation begin..

Someone in the comments of the Facebook video had (what I thought was) an interesting guess. They wrote, "My guess is Buzzr will host a specific game show marathon every day of the month of June."

That's actually not a terrible idea.

I counted 27 logos in the video.
