Isn't Jon Bauman "Bowzer"?

I ask mostly because I saw the title of this thread and thought "The Nintendo villain? What does he have to do with game shows?"
Tricia stared at them.
"That must be very boring, isn't it?" she blurted out.
"Yes."
"So why..."
"Except..."
"Yes? Except what?"
"Game shows. We quite like game shows."

If you follow Jon on twitter - he's quite knowledgable and in touch with current politics. He spent time in front of Congress advocating for old bands getting proper royalties, and is quite a conversationalist. I enjoyed interviewing him on tv a few years ago.  He'll even laugh a bit about his GS fame.

He's been dabbling into political campaigning (obviously not him running for an office) for a while now. I think many moons ago, a clip of him campaigning for then-less-than-one-term Congresswoman Kathy Hochul in Buffalo was posted here.

Bauman's political persuasion is probably the only thing he and Gene agreed on during MGHS (Jon ribbing Reagan despite his popularity and impending landslide win, Gene saying William Buckley was "wrong 100% of the time").
