OOPS, mea culpa. I was thinking Sept. 4 since that's the 50th anniversary. But yes, you are correct.

So did anyone see this? I thought it was enjoyable. A '72 car won in Back to '72, which may have been played for the last time, and $50 grand won in To The Penny. This was considered the last show of the 50th season. Not sure when the season premiere is.

Thanks. I take it that's when LMAD will also have its season premiere.

Do we know about anything new on either show? What about audience sizes?

From what I understand, they're still going with the pod setup for audiences.

As can be seen in this video posted by Rachel Reynolds on Instagram, The Price Is Right has made some minor cosmetic changes because it's no longer the 50th season, but will otherwise be the same as last year.

So the information is complete: Let's Make a Deal has increased the number of seating areas in its audience this season. (Somewhere between 1½ and 2 times as many? I didn't count.) Additionally, each seating area is allowed to hold two people, even though Wayne may only select one of those two people to make a deal. (Previously, when two people were together in a seating area, then it meant they would be called down together for a deal that required a couple.) There are still 18 video feeds on the back screens for at-home contestants.

Distancing in the gameplay area is still in effect.

Now that it isn't the case that the vast majority of the in-studio audience will participate in an episode, it's yet to be seen whether audience members will carry over to additional episodes from the same taping day, as happens at The Price Is Right.

Two things of note on TPIR that aired 9/20. First game was One Away. Contestant got all five numbers wrong, ending the game. Can't remember the last time that happened.

Later in Pass The Buck, The contestant got two picks and chose both of the Lose Everything.

Over on G-R, they're saying it's happened twice: once in the 80s with a four-digit car, and again in the early 90s with a contestant who though the first digit in a Lincoln was 1.
