It might just be a Jay Wolpert thing. He's just as over-the-top on the Pandemonium pilot.

I'll have to check, but I swear he was more "professional" sounding on "Hit Man".

Hit Man had "both" of the Rod Roddys - the "calm" one narrated the two "movies," while the more over-the-top one did the opening and closing credits.
I thought Peter narrated the "movies".

Yep—that was Peter all the way.

In case nobody has noticed, the Gauntlet has a current losing streak at 20.  That's one way to make up for the week with 4 Gauntlet wins.

(Spoilered in case nobody has seen the episode that aired Friday afternoon.)
I was hoping that I wasn't the only one who noticed. And IMO, an overcorrection. I'm sure it didn't help against its competition.

Spoilered in case someone hasn't watched yesterday's episode

The dry streak continues - with some really tough (imo) bloopers but easier ones shuffled in
And we can add another notch in Jeremy Swash's belt today.

and another....

Unless episode 117 had a Gauntlet win (skipped today), the Gauntlet losing streak is at 26 and during the streak, nobody that we know about has gotten past #7.

Though it's gotten easier to watch now... at least they're usually making it to #6 or #7 now... we're seemingly out of that "ha ha ha... no" territory where you'd be lucky to reach #3 or #4

Classic ep…just classic…I had heard the story about that (though I thought it was after a Gauntlet win)

HOLY CRAP.

I was thinking about That Episode the other day, and wondering if it was coming, or amongst the early skipped episodes.

Well when he is brought back, at least we know ONE Gauntlet win is coming....
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

And his return to face the Gauntlet will be a little over the top as well!

Hopefully not to the point of the ambulance making a return trip to Television City as well.

One other thing- Is that a record for a successfully completed Charge? He did it in 44 seconds…

Loved Tom’s commentary: “Remember this-whoever loses, I’m not responsible, OK?”

If not a record, then certainly on the leaderboard, and one of the best I've seen to date.

All I remember is that when Stephen came back to face the Gauntlet there was no mention of him before his segment on the episode.  So when it happens, it will likely be after another contestant's Gauntlet win or unsuccessful 5th try.

But again, when it happens, you'll know....in classic Jay Wolpert style!
