My favorite blooper from Randy's winning Gauntlet:

I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

And we're three-for-three this week on commercial screw-ups.

Does Buzzer have a dedicated master control, or is it automated?

I think we've established that the commercial cues are likely aligned to the scheduled episode, and we're running one behind this week.
Nothing that can't be fixed with a little Videopad Editor magic!

Me thinks most networks have servers that run their programming now, running whatever files they're instructed to run.

Except that we lose two seconds of the show every time there's a miscued commercial break, which today meant we lost the last two seconds of a gauntlet run.

Hopefully "most networks" don't have their servers go off the rails as frequently as Buzzr's seems to do.

So I'm trying to follow; does it appear we've narrowed down which episodes Buzzr's aired so far this week? I haven't processed my recordings yet because I don't really know what to name them. (Plus it sounds like the Tuesday show's broken.)

I don’t know what show aired Monday. Tuesday was Randy’s show, and today was The Show After Randy’s Show.

Commercial breaks still messed up on Wednesday as they were on Monday and Tuesday, but the show did air completely (minus two seconds), just with the breaks in the wrong spot.

I have a hypothesis that the Monday breaks were timed to Randy’s show, and so on.

I comment here because QCing material and running on-air stations is my line of work.

Wherever their MC operation is, I don't know what process they use to QC material but there is a major failure in whatever process they have to have this happen day after day.

All I know is that if this were to continually happen in my facility, questions would be raised and the problem would be fixed after the FIRST time it happened, let alone the third.

This is abysmal.

I wonder if they use Marketron?  Apparently they were hacked recently.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Seeming as how that's a sales platform - no, that has nothing to do with on-air automation.

Well, they seem to have to have gotten the commercial breaks under control for today.

Indeed. Reminds me of one episode circulating where a contestant says... something (audio's not clear enough to pick it out) and Tom tells her "you're on the air!" Oops!
