New "Pictionary Sketch Squad" board game
« on: June 26, 2023, 05:47:11 PM »
I decided to do a full-new subject, since it is not actually a game show home game, nor directly related to the TV show, about to enter its second season.

Here is the link to the game, and you'll see six reviews that are mostly positive:

https://www.amazon.com/Pictionary-Sketch-Cooperative-Adults-Players/dp/B0BN2J71HM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3MCAEBJHH12HC&keywords=pictionary+sketch+squad&qid=1687815801&sprefix=pictionary+sketch+squad%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-2

It's like Pictionary meets Super Password!

I've thought an idea like this would make a great round of Win, Lose, or Draw at a game show party. I'll have to give this a look.

Didn't WLOD try that late in the run of the NBC Daytime series?

they did, and I think it moved to the syndicated show too. It was ok—I liked the additional challenge but it wasn’t earth-shaking.

/that lineage goes back to The Cross-wits anyway.

Last month, Mattel released another spin-off of it's popular game, called "Pictionary Vs AI."

The box cover is shown here, complete with brief game description:
