Today's NYTimes crossword (11/19)
« on: November 19, 2020, 09:16:33 AM »
The online puzzle is subscription-only, but if you're able to pick up a physical copy of today's New York Times, the crossword has a clever theme that many of us will like.

For those not inclined, the puzzle is based around Wheel Of Fortune.
It was Bob Barker. He was eating a bologna and cheese-ball sandwich.

Cute gimmick, and a nice NYT debut puzzle for the constructor.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

I thought the story behind this puzzle was great. Some in the comments questioned the timing, but given the circumstances, I though it was rather poignant. And yes, it was a fun solve.
