UNO game show in development

Per Deadline, Mattel, LMAD showrunner John Quinn and Propogate Content are working on "The UNO Game Show," based on the popular card game.

Mattel tried this before with Phil Gurin's group back in 2013 without much luck. This new version is said to combine "trivia, audience participation and over-the-top physical challenges," and it appears Mattel would like to get something on air for the card game's 50th anniversary next year.

I’m interested to see how this would get translated. Uno has become a meme of late, so it is definitely in the cultural zeitgeist.

Will viewers be Wild for the show, or will they want to Skip it?

As long as they create a solid format, I think they'll get enough people's eyeballs to Draw Two the screen.

But will they Draw Four more than just an initial curiosity view?

Reverse the punnery and we should stay on topic.
I suppose you can still learn stuff on TLC, though it would be more in the Goofus & Gallant sense, that is (don't do what these parents did)"- Travis Eberle, 2012

I'll Skip the temptation to join in the wordplay and mention that in conversations with the then-head of International Games, the firm that originally marketed UNO, he mentioned that there had been a proposal to create an UNO game show that he was rather impressed with, and that would place it around the late 80s. Can't quite recall whether or not an actual pilot had been shot, but he made it sound as though the idea was gaining traction for a while.

For fans of the card game, Mattel has released word that this is the 50th anniversary year of the game, and there will be some new releases coming this spring:

Why isn't Lil Yachty starring in a Yahtzee movie?!

You can beat them to the punch by creating a Crazy Eights game show and, additionally, avoid paying royalties to a game company!
