BUZZR on Pluto TV heads-up
« on: August 18, 2020, 06:10:33 PM »
Pluto TV rearranged their lineup recently.  BUZZR is now at 540, nowhere near Game Show Central or the Deal or No Deal channels.

There is also a Johnny Carson channel at 514, relevant only because I could spend hours watching that channel.

Thankfully, the channel # change didn't affect my Vizio WatchFree favorites.

And the Johnny Carson channel is sure to become a new fave. Orson Bean is on as I write. :)

/also a treat: The vintage cartoon channel
//also noticed the "American Gladiators" channel is now on 303
.....and it goes like this!!!

And if you want to see American Bible Challenge, those game show reruns can be seen on Faith TV channel 643.

Side Q : Do we in the US only get the US Deal or no Deal, or is there a separate channel for the UK Version?

Only the US version. And if you were wondering, the UK Pluto lineup doesn't have a Deal or No Deal channel.

There's other channels on Pluto?
Portions of this post not affecting the outcome have been edited or recreated.

Slightly off topic, but if you have access to the Roku Channel,  the Cash Cab episodes that show and describe the Ben Bailey version are incorrect.  Instead, I am getting episodes of the UK version!

Not sure how long this glitch will last, so catch 'em while you can.  I like the more rapid fire approach to the gameplay they use across the pond.

Interesting that the Tonight Show reruns appears to be the same “Johnny Carson” episodes that air(ed?) on Antenna TV. I believe NBC owns the rights to the “Tonight Show” name, thus preventing the show from airing under that name.

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

There’s a selection of “Johnny Carson” on peacock as well (108 episodes). Still seem to be some of the same eps as Antenna, but they re-edited the intro a bit.
