So that means our lineup looks like this:

6:00 p.m.- Supermarket Sweep (i am SO glad this is returning!)
6:30 p.m.- Pax23 News: Live from the 23 News center in Downtown Akron, This is Pax 23 news! 2 Years strong as Akron's only news outlet.
7:00 p.m. -Now, currently the second run of Karn Feud runs here-I don't think this will change (and it apperently is doing well, there are promos and everything)
7:30 p.m.- Karn reruns from season 4? Perhaps!

The lineup for 6-8 on my Pax station remains whatever was on The WB the previous night.  Here's hoping the early Pax seasons of SS wind up on GSN eventually.

Take this for what it's worth, but I found this on PAX's Family Feud Page:

\"PAX will begin airing episodes this fall hosted by comedian Louie Anderson, and then premiere original episodes with a new host in fall 2003.\"

Judging from that, they're going with Karn Season 4 eps. in September, unless they make thier own version. While highly unlikely that PAX would do something like that, I think that the person who wrote it made it sound like that might be the case.

PAX's fall schedule is out, and Beat the Clock is gone.
:'( OH NO!!!!!

Now all I can hope for is to see either GSN or ABC Family to pick up this version!

So PAX will still be around come the fall.  Weren't there rumors of its imminent demise after it went to infomercials ~18 hours a day?

And good news for Randy that there will be new episodes of Supermarket Sweep!

Bud Paxson is still hoping that NBC will buy PAX. Now that the FCC has ruled, it looks like clear sailing for NBC. But if they don't do it, Bud's gonna have to start with the fire sale sooner rather than later.

I think NBC will buy it. It's a better fit for them than Telemundo.  I just think GE's waiting so that the price goes down.

Will there be any new episodes of STYD? I heard somewhere that there was going to be one more season.

No, there haven't been any first-run eps on PAX since the end of the 01-02 season.

Some PAX stations air rebroadcasts of the local NBC station's earlier evening newscast at 7PM(STYD's reruns timeslot IIRC) and 11:30(formerly held by Hollywood SHowdown season one when in reruns), at least that is the case in Philly.

Wait a minute...IF NBC's going to buy PAX (and I'm hoping they might), does this mean they're going to have that \"tween\" spinoff of Access Hollywood that's being planned?

Then again, the Anchorage PAX station also doubles as an HSN affiliate.

Too bad -- from the episodes I've seen of the most recent BTC, it was a pretty decent show.

Now the 2001 version of Card Sharks -- as you know, that one was so bad, someone had to come up with a computer-simulated pinball machine the next year (and not even one I considered particularly outstanding at that) to redeem the name of that great classic game show that had previously been hosted by Jim Perry, Bob Eubanks, and Bill Rafferty.

But a Beat the Clock pinball machine?  Well…

   Michael Brandenburg
(It's already been done -- twice, as a matter of fact, by Williams in 1963 and Bally-Midway in 1985.  And they were real pinball machines, too, not computer simulations!)
