Buzzr Changes effective 11/18
« on: November 12, 2019, 06:06:48 AM »
Changes and jumps as follows:

Weekday Changes:
9:30 am: Supermarket Sweep "3" (season 4 if I recall) (replaces Temptation)
10:00am: Press Your Luck '84 (continuing from former 7p run) (replaces Split Second)
7:00pm: Sale of the Century (NBC Daytime) (7/12/1988, same as this past summer) (replaces Press Your Luck)
9:00pm: Supermarket Sweep "3" (replaces $ale)
12:00am: Supermarket Sweep "3" (replace $ale) (reair of 9p)

Episode jumps:
10:30am: Blockbusters reverts back to June 1981.
3:30pm: Tattletales jumps ahead to reairs from early 1975, starting with #241
4:00pm: Remains Card Sharks w/ Jim Perry, but jumps back to July 1978

LMaD '85 and MG-HSH continue onward, which is super satisfying to me.

Listings services not showing changes on weekends at the moment and Buzzr's site only goes to the 18th itself, so not sure what's happening there - although much like Now You See It and the Cullen-era Price is Right, it's not entirely implausible Split Second and/or Temptation could still hang around doing their own thing on weekends.

(Edit note: removed paragraph about overnights now that Buzzr website has updated)

While SS'86 wasn't a great show by any means, I'm still kinda sad to see it go so soon--it and Blockbusters made for a nice little morning trivia challenge.

Speaking of Blockbusters, is there some issue with the masters that keeps them from advancing in the run?
It was Bob Barker. He was eating a bologna and cheese-ball sandwich.

Five more weeks of new shows.  That's all I'm asking.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Well...at least it outlived Wordplay’s life on the channel.

Do we know yet if it's still gonna be on weekends?  If not, was it indeed another obscure rights issue or just not popular enough for Buzzr's audience?

(EDIT: Oh, OP says no weekend sched yet...never mind...)
I'm a pacifist, and even I would like to see a little more action.

They just aired 35 new-to-Buzzr episodes. I don't think the reasoning for slow advancement is any more complicated than it is for any other show on the network.

Assuming TVPassport's listings are correct, yes.

EDIT: Confirmed by Buzzr's own listings now, yes. And still getting fresh episodes as well.
