Emmons' Chain Reaction - who said USA skipped it?

Something that I've always had in the back of my mind but never bothered asking: is it 100% confirmed that USA skipped his episodes?
I ask because when I saw my first glimpse of an EOTVGS 20+ years ago, I remember thinking "oh, I thought his name was Blake EVANS."
I distinctly remember seeing him between Edwards' episodes. Never been to Canada, so unless I've got some sort of clairvoyance power, I'm fairly certain that USA had to have aired some of them!
Maybe they were aired during a production break?

Yes they aired. I believe 13 weeks of Geoff Edwards aired then 13 weeks of Blake Edmonds starting in early 1987..

There's at least one Emmons episode circulating with the USA bumper in front of it.
