Celebrity Jeopardy! (not SNL) to return
« on: April 01, 2015, 03:05:36 PM »
The real Celebrity Jeopardy! is coming back in May.

The contestants on the May 12 show are Aaron Rodgers, retired astronaut Mark Kelly and Kevin O'Leary.

This story calls the host "Alex Trebec" and refers to the contestants as "contests":

You don't really have to point out every typo an author makes in an article...sure a little spell check goes a long way, but I think you know what they meant.
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

  • Just leave the set; that’d be terrific.

When someone is getting paid bucks to write stories on a professional website,  I think a little proofreading is a reasonable expectation.   The fact that ESPN is the site in question doesn't surprise me a bit.  They've steadily been going down the hill for years now.

Poor Ginger Zee (who will also be one of the celebrity contestants) may have the worst Wikipedia photo ever:

For those who don't know, she's now ABC's chief meteorologist, having replaced Sam Champion (who moved to The Weather Channel last year).  Before that, she was weekends only at WMAQ here in Chicago (where management may now regret not promoting her).

It amuses me greatly that she is, in fact, named for the Gilligan's Island character.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.

Her actual last name is Zuidgeest.

The local media columnist said several times she was highly regarded for her work at WMAQ; she didn't advance on looks alone.  I guess we'll be able to judge next month how sharp she is.

Bellamy Young's on Scandal and John Berman's a CNN correspondent.

But I'm sure you have Google, too.

If one had never heard of Bellamy Young, how would one know the sex?
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.
