Lingo season three observation

One minor format change no one has mentioned here: The first round now usually sees five words being played rather than four, which was usually the case in the past. I'm wondering if this is done to lessen the probably of a tie at the end of round two(the difference between the scores at round one's end will now be a multiple of 25)

Having five words instead of four will completely eliminate the possibility of a tie.  A great idea; instead of having a different tiebreaker game, make it so a tie Just Doesn't Happen.

The difference between scores is *always* a multiple of 25, except in a tie.

Umm, zero is a multiple of 25!

BTW, sometimes six words are played.  I wonder if the first round is timed as well as the second.

Both rounds are timed.  It's just a coincidence that the same number of words seems to be played.  The pressure of the timer is excruciating.
