Yesterday I got to looking at a tape of 'TPIR' shows from '97 to '02 and I started to think how I still wish GSN ran the series. Are there those of you here who want to see Barker repeats on the network after all this time?

I would, but only if its from 1972-1995. No more than that.

I've expressed my thoughts on Barker elsewhere, and I'll express them here: I'm really freakin' tired of Barker denying the existence of Holly Hallstrom, and almost all the other episodes that featured fur coats.

I'd never watch it if the repeats were from any year after 1995 or so, agreed. The more recent eps don't have any nostalgic value. I could understand if they wanted to run Drewpeats for ratings, but I wouldn't watch those either...

Were it not for the fact that I was a contestant in 1996, I'd wholeheartedly agree.  ;)

At least Janice was still around at that time.

If I am in the minority so be it but I would like to see shows from '97 to '07. To me 'TPIR' isn't the same anymore without the college kids and loud audiences.

Ugh, to me that would be the weakest point in the show's history which it's still trying to rebound from. I could do without Bob phoning it in and calling everything "a new record", or the audience cheering over every single thing, not to mention the lackluster showcase ideas built around the word "_____" and tools who think bidding 420 is HA-larious.

I look at Youtube eps. from the early-80s, and it's just a fun, laid-back atmosphere. A variety of contestants who still dressed in regular clothes (sorry, punny T-shirts does nothing for me), and didn't waste their time just to get some face time.
"I just wanna give a shoutout to my homies in their late-30s who are watching this on Paramount+ right now, cause they couldn't stay up late enough to watch it live!"

Now celebrating his 21st season on GSF!

The ones I liked best were the Dennis James nighttime shows, so I'd like to see those, but I generally don't support GSN running shows that are still on other outlets.  I'd prefer GSN to run exclusive programming.
Let's Make a Deal was the first show to air on Buzzr. 6/1/15 8PM.

Unless I'm mistaken, there is no other outlet for Dennis James programming at all.

I think I'm more likely to see Dennis on reruns of "Rocky III" than on GSN.

I wish Dennis James hosted the daytime TPIR instead of Barker. At least James was a much nicer man who was humble about his fame, compared to Barker.

It took me 0.014 seconds to use my synaptic resources and figure out that based on that statement, Dennis James had a role in "Rocky III".

Logic. 'Tis a good thing.

I don't care about Dennis's role in anything other than a game show.
