And for anyone that cares, the contestant Richard on the previously billed "Mystery Clip" came from the final episode of TJW with Bill Cullen.

This is an episode GSN hasn't shown yet IIRC(they aired more than half of the 1985-86 season of Joker in 1998-99 before dropping it from weekdays)

Should we read anything into the promos?  If that's the case, it looks like it will consist of the following:

Whammy
Joker's Wild
Match Game
Pyramid
Cram
Russian Roulette
Friend or Foe
Family Feud

plus four others.

Would GSN use those shows in the promo if they weren't going to be part of the "feast"?

Most definitely!  Last year's promo showed clips that didn't make the cut.

An early 70s LMAD clip was among those classic shows seen in the ads. You can read into it what you will, but clips of Bullseye were shown in last year's ads and we didn't see that one make the top 12. It would behoove GSN to make next year's Feast of Favorites an all day event, and show the top 30 or so picks from 9AM-Midnight(the number would have to be lowered if RObinson Weakest Link or Twenty One made the cut, as all episodes of those two shows are an hour long). This would made it more likely for us to see lesser known or at least lesser seen-on-GSN shows.

This was posted on the GSN boards.  Supposedly it's showing on the schedule for the 26th (the day before).  Might be a typo for the date or just a total ruse altogether, but this is what's shown:

12:00 Greed
1:00 Russian Roulette
2:00 Let's Make a Deal
3:00 Who Wants to be a Millionaire
4:00 Press Your Luck
5:00 The Joker's Wild
6:00 To be determined (?)
7:00 Friend or Foe
8:00 Family Feud
9:00 Whammy
10:00 Lingo
11:00 Match Game

Oy. Yes, it IS showing for Thanksgiving. So GSN just wasn't going to wait this time for the viewers to be in suspense? That just spoils everything.

If this is the case, then the only mystery is the identity of favorite #6.

...oh well.

[EDIT: The GSN online schedule is now "To Be Determined" for the whole marathon. The above schedule however was indeed up, as I saw it with muh own eyes. Maybe someone thought it'd be a cute joke? Who knows. We'll see on Thanksgiving.]

For the record, GSN has played with us on their website in the past, listing things that weren't true (even things that didn't exist) just to throw us off.
This has been another installment of Matt Ottinger's Masters of the Obvious.
Stay tuned for all the obsessive-compulsive fun of Words Have Meanings.

Yeah, who can forget that April Fool's joke..."Winner Take All" with Bud Collyer & "Say When."

I almost became one of the youngest people ever to die of euphoria-induced heart attack when I saw that on the schedule. Silly GSN.
I would find it suspect that Greed beat out Pyramid and Wheel of Fortune for the #12 slot, but ya never know.

Well, this supposed schedule (that was up, anyway) isn't quite on the same level of Say When! and Collyer Winner Take All. Maybe they were just testing...;-)

Hopefully that was the case this go around.  Or at least I hope.  I guess we will all see soon enough.

Friend or Foe? getting #5 again doesn't sound right to me. Beating out Millionaire is another thing.
GSN has shown Twelve $10,000 Pyramid's alone, the other 3 shows (1 from Duncan/Asner, two from Feldon/Schuck) *should* at least be there, so that's 15, plus one ep from elsewhere in 1973 that exists on the trade circuit.

That's a minimum of 16 eps that exist, at the very least.
I understand the ep has Kaye Ballard and Richard Deacon. That one's a big one with traders.

Oh, in that Alan Alda clip, I see there's 26 seconds left when they win. Guess he was a fantastic player just like Billy Crystal and John Moschitta.

Posted by thericker at GSN, so take it with a grain of salt.

The shows you have on your list are not 100% accurate by any means. There was a person testing our scheduling system when that information was pulled.

We had to see about having shows in the schedule that are not interactive and how they show up on the interactive window.

The test were supposed to be done on the development server but the person was new and screwed up.
Sorry.

I love it....."The Ricker" blasts someone for calling Boden and Cronin "idiots", but entirely ignores the completely valid point of TJW (possibly) being on the FoF for two years on a row,  but not anywhere on the regular schedule.

Whoever noted that they should have an announce board w/o reply access is on the money...
