Homemade Prize Wheel Prop
« on: March 31, 2009, 12:14:11 AM »
Hey guys. It's been awhile since I've built anything so I was excited when I was commissioned by a store to build a prize wheel for their MDA Shamrock fundraiser. I had three days to spare so I figured why not. I took a cue from TPIR art department and ripped with their blue/green color scheme and light border. What you guys think?

That's a pretty neat lookin' wheel there.  Definitely has the color scheme that's Plinko-esque, but it's pretty good to me.

I think you need to shop your resume and some pics to L.A. ;-)

Seriously, nice work!

Very nice work. I give "mad props" (cough) to anyone who has the patience and wherewithal to make these things look this good.

I also see that Kramer approves.

It's a Dell 19 in. LCD screen hooked up to a laptop with the screens split between sound controls (my screen) and a changing background (lecturn screen). It's housed in a cutout within the front of it.
