2009 Jeopardy! College Tourney question
« on: May 07, 2009, 07:50:46 AM »
Is this the first time, in a long while, that Jeopardy's College Tournament is being held in the typical Culver City studios and NOT at a college campus?

I'm honestly rather surprised they chose to stay home this time. I figured that was one of the more prominent "hooks" of the College Tournament.

The last time the College Championship was played in Culver City was February, 2000.

Travelling costs money. Goodly chunks of money. We're hip-deep in a recession.

Besides, the ToC was this year's one road show for Jeopardy!

Even still, they could've killed two birds with one stone, and just taped at UNLV if they really wanted to go on location.
Fact To Make You Feel Old: Just about every contestant who appears in a Price is Right Teen Week episode from here on out has only known a world where Drew Carey has been the host.
