Thanks for the heads up that it's on iTunes... I've got a long road trip coming up and we now have a winner for the drive home.

(a small whoosh, "zeke" comes from Drew's references to "Ezekiel Barker.")
This isn't a plug, but you can ask me about my book.

I've been poking around the net to try and find a decent download - I'm looking at both iPod and mp3 format - would anyone be able to suggest a good site?  I found audible.com but that's about it for now.

Thanks,

Ryan.

I did a little bit of poking around for you, and I can tell you that Borders is a good site where you can get iPod compatible downloads, since those devices support mp3 formats. I hope it helps.

I have an actual copy of the book, and while I am only about 3 or 4 chapters in, I think it's an excellent read and comes with life lessons I can apply to my personal situations. Highly recommended!

This past Sunday, 4/26 on AFV, Tom gave copies of his book to two volunteers he picked from the audience to guess the results of clips. File this one under shameless promotion, the latest entry.

Either way, the book is worth it, free or paid for. After completing the 6 hour-plus audiobook, I still recommend that over a paper book any day of the week. Tom's stories have so much more life and vibrance when it's actually him vocalizing them. The "back spasms" story would certainly not come across the same without hearing Tom actually do them. Highly recommended, worth your $17.95 on Audible.

^ Oh, I just might go to the library and read about the Hollywood Squares tidbits and such. So he WAS offered the TPIR gig. Hell, if Mario Lopez was offered it, not offering Tom a shot would be a disgrace, if anything.

I'd like to agree with the sentiment expressed by Chad and others about the audio book.  It kept me extremely entertained during a long drive this past weekend to Ohio.  Tom has a great voice telling his stories.  It's not like I will give up traditional books, but something like this I believe works so much better as an audio book.
