So You think You Can Dance? host Cat Deeley will be filling in for Meredith all next week on Millionaire. All I can say is good riddance to Meredith. Seeing the first big win on her version again, after the Perfect Showcase Bid disaster last December on Price, really put into perspective for me when you can tell someone can't host big wins.

That said, Cat Deeley? That is ... dubious ... at best. I'll give her a shot though.

So you're basing her inability to host on something which happened 6 years ago? If that's the reason you don't like her as a host, you're really grasping at straws.

She hosted the win. That she failed to leap out of her chair and exclaim "ZOMFG you've won a million dollars!" like the female version of Bert Parks does not negate the facts.

Is that what those who dislike Meredith's hosting style want? Someone to yell "It's the right answer!" at the top of their lungs every step of the way? What about the idea that she's perhaps trying to stay reserved and composed because that's what the producers tell her to do? Or she wants to be dignified on screen?

Not only is she guest-hosting all next week, there's also gonna be a marriage proposal on the 17th. Set your VCRs/DVRs/PVRs/Tivos accordingly for that event.

I was only using that event as an example. She bores me to tears, always has. And I have seen a good few shows from this season.
