It's official! Former Scrabble announcer Charlie Tuna has been inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. He will be honored in Chicago on November 8th. Also among the inductees is the late Dick Whittinghill, who spent nearly a quarter of a century as morning man at KMPC. Dick worked alongside future game show icons like Wink Martindale and Geoff Edwards.

Not that some of you would care about THAT (Whittinghill, not Tuna, that is.....)

Cordially,
Tammy

Count me among those who do care. A highly talented man, Dick Whittinghill. Wish he'd have received this honor while living, but it's at least good that his achievements are being recognized through this induction.
