While I don't know the exact airdate or contestants/celebrities involved, I can say this much:

*The episode was probably hosted by Monty Hall.
*More than likely Jack Narz announced.  
*More than likely, Whew! was the beneficiary of a colorful pronunciation.
*It's probable that the game's participants raced against time to compete stunts for cash.
*The episode was most likely during the CBS portion of the run.
*The program in question would have been produced during the part of the series produced by Goodson-Todman.

*And I watched Perry CS opposite it when it aired originally.

Which apparently quite a few people did, which seemingly was why BtC didn't last much past the first month of 1980.

*Music was by Arthur B. Rubinstein, looking rather Beethovenesque in this photo:
