11:30 AM (Trivia Trap) is the second episode with the revised 2nd format - episode 52 of the series.  Seniors retire as 5-day undefeated champs with $44,400 combined.

12:00 PM (Password Plus) is an episode from the sixth week of the run (1979), with guests Elaine Joyce and Tom Kennedy.  Tom makes the joke that he's glad he's a player and not an emcee for the show.

12:30 PM (Press Your Luck) is a 1984 episode featuring Veronica, who was planning to be a mortician - but her husband made her stop after she put an ear in his lunch.  Peter nearly collapses from laughter.

Which episode of Password Plus are they showing right now? I hope it's not Rich Cronin's episode.

Password Plus at noon had Password Plus's biggest Champion in the early run with over $17,000. The celeb's were Elaine Joyce and Tom Kennedy.
PYL is on now with Veronica the Mortician.

The only reason that episode ever got frequent rotation in programming stunts on GSN for the last several years was that the man was the head of the network.  Now that he's left GSN, don't expect that episode to ever show up anywhere other than the regular rotation ever again.

The 2:00 Wheel of Fortune features Pat mistaking the speed-up round effect for the "only vowels left" noise and the hilarity that ensues afterwards.

I also forgot about all the cool mid-90s camera shots Wheel uses with the crane. Those are pretty much absent today.

Match Game PM is a funny episode from 1975 that features a big win at the end. The panel is William Shatner, BS, CNR, Lee Meriweather, RD, and JB.

The real rarities start next with Hot Potato.

4pm brings us 70s Treasure Hunt and it's definitely not the same ep that aired during 50GGS, nor the premiere.  Is it that 1974 episode GSN ran way way back or a different one altogether?

Jackpot! is also a keeper, and an excellent non-celebrity episode of Bullseye followed that.

....and now, it's Hal Shearer (sp?) and his lucky suit on The Joker's Wild.

This is fun! =)

Tomarken: "...somebody else could do this job!"

Rod Roddy: "Yes, I'm afraid that's true."

~Rod making a joke after Peter complains that it's Labor Day and he shouldn't be working on Press Your Luck.

Just Shear, IMO.

TTD is a fairly early ep. from Thom McKee's reign----he only had $11K at the start of this one!
