I only hope Drew doesn't reference LMAD in regards to those doors by accident.
Holy Wow. You absolutely need to step away from the keyboard.

/Drew's not a moron.
//Unlike this statement, which is quite moronic.

According to someone who was at the first set of tapings, the door frames apparently don't wrap at the floor level (think: regular doors).

It seem to me that they've done just enough to make the show Drew's, without alienating 90 year old Nursing Home watcher into thinking it's not TPiR.

Yep, definitely a harvest-gold thing going on back there.

And regarding The Blob: If you tilt your head just so and squint hard enough, might you make out a three-quarter view of a price tag sticking out of its envelope?

Today's trivia - those are called hypercycloids, or curved-edge diamonds.
Close.  They're hypocycloids.  And four-cornered hypocycloids like these even have their own name: astroids.  This concludes The Learning Corner for today.  (Now then, back to my Spirograph...)

I like the doors a HELLUVA lot more than the last 5-6 years incarnation. The show has been looking goofier and goofier....from the Hollywood mural on the turntable, to the Anime looking starbursts out of the logo.

I can't believe I'm sounding like the fanbOis on GR, but I'm hoping they class the joint up a bit.

I think it's Flying Spaghetti Monster.  When I punched in FSM in Google, that was the first hit.

Woosh as appropriate....

Aww, hell.  I thought for sure FSM referenced this. (I should have known considering Go God Go and Go God Go XII are two of my favorite South Park episodes.)

To me, that's quite a stretch.  Who knows, maybe that's what they were going for.

That scene ran through my mind while writing the post.

/I don't know why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper.  It does just fine on its own.

Time to throw some more meat on the fire...

Brandon Bridges of golden-road.net apparently has access to some promotional photos of the new set taken during rehearsal, which he isn't able to share. He made two (excellent looking) 3D renderings of what it should look like:

http://community.webshots.com/album/560358557TytSvs

Door #3 isn't done yet, but it should look similar to 1 and 2, except it's a green background.

EDIT: Corrected link.
